“We chose the industry leader, MULTIVAC, because they offer an all-in-one solution – Films, Machinery, and Service.”
In this video, Big Mountain Foods of Vancouver, BC, welcomes us into its new 70,000-square-foot, allergen-free facility to view the packaging of its plant-based products, including the world’s first soy-free tofu made of Canadian fava beans. Jasmine, the company’s VP, explains that packaging is a crucial part of their business.
“We chose the industry leader, MULTIVAC, because they offer an all-in-one solution – Films, Machinery, and Service,” says Jasmine. The R105 thermoforming machine has a unique converging conveyor that indexes packages in a single file from the thermoformer to an integrated line of metal detection and check-weighing equipment – all provided by MULTIVAC.
